The world is my Oyster, Vodeo by L'Orca

L'Orca put together a short video of The world is my oyster, part of The Shaman. 

The world is my oyster was written in March - April 2005. The final recordings were made in August 2007 with Lorenzo on the keys and Emma on voice. L'Orca owes the title and the idea to his friend Richard.

Recording with Emma

L'Orca, together with Chris, made the final recordings for The Shaman at Closer Look Recording Studio, the studio where they made most of the recording for Cherry Blossom. Of the four songs that they recorded, Emma, a good friend from Venezuela, recorded a duet of The world is my oyster and the chorus of Gypsy Lady.

Stable eyes or Settle for less

Settle for less is the leading track of The Shaman of friendship by L'Orca.

The song was written in March 2006 and the music was added in November 2006.

The final recordings were made in August 2006 with the following line up:

L'Orca - voice and guitar; Chris - guitar; Lorenzo - Piano; Margo - Armonium; Holly - percussions.

New recording for The Shaman

L'Orca continues his recording session for The Shaman. Together with Chris they worked at a few older songs and they started recording a new one: Maybe.

Holly was so kind to drum on the following songs: Stable eyes, Gypsy Lady and In the Moment.

Thanks also to Margo for adding her armonioum on Stable eyes and Gypsy Lady. It really makes them sound much better!

Recording with Lorenzo for the Shaman

Lorenzo played his keys on a few songs for the new L'Orca's project The Shaman.

The songs are: The world is my oyster, In the moment, Settle for less and the newly written Killer Whale.

Chris was also able to play some guitars on some of the songs.
